About SUNSHINE QUILTERS ONLINE GUILD
Sunshine Quilters Online Guild makes quilts for children and teens all around the world. We work with two programs: Wrap-A-Smile and Wrap Them in Love.
Wrap-A-Smile is part of a Rotary program called Rotaplast. Rotaplast sends volunteer medical teams worldwide to perform free cleft lip/cleft palate surgery on children. After surgery each child gets a quilt to warm up in and to keep.
Wrap Them in Love is a quilt donation program headquartered in Mt. Vernon, Washington. Wrap Them in Love is an official 501(c)3 non-profit organization. They send quilts to orphanages worldwide. To go to their website, click on their url under Links below.
Quilts are collected on a continuous basis. Both programs send quilts regularly; the need is on-going.
We welcome new members at any time, and encourage everyone to share the love, warmth, and fun of quilting for others!

BLOCK LOTTO
We do a monthly block lotto.. half the blocks are donated to Sunshine for children's quilts. The other half is given to a winner whose name is drawn at the end of the month. For details, please post a comment at this blog or send an email to the address listed below in Updates to Blog.
